BCSI Selected for Appleton Museum Addition

Breen Construction Services was selected by Central Florida Community College to build an addition to the Appleton Museum for art storage and staging. The project is located in Ocala, FL.

The scope of the project required exterior and site demolition, utility relocation, and the addition of storage space and loading dock space constructed with reinforced concrete, masonry, and structural steel. The project also required significant upgrades to the fire alarm system, HVAC system, and fire protection system.

The addition was sited in close proximity to the primary electrical and mechanical utilities servicing the existing museum. Ongoing operations have carried on as usual without any unexpected interruptions.
